This painting is by Pablo Picasso, and was the first Cubist picture. Picasso made many preparations and studies for this work. The women displayed in this painting show the power that Picasso was trying to portray in the work of art. The sharp angles of their bodies and shapes surrounding them portray cubism along with the arrangement of colors throughout this piece.
