William Tyndale

William Tyndale was another important reformer. He was also an English Professor, as welll as Luther, William thought that evryone should be able to read and translate the bible. William's belief went agaisnt the Catholic Church. The church sadi only the clergy should interpret the Bible. William decided to translate the Bible to into English and this made English clergy mad. Therefor the clergy tried to arrest William, but William managed to escape and continue his plans. He sent several copies back to England, this made the Catholic authorities furious and had to execute William.
