Ignatuis of Loyola
Ignatius came from a high class Spanish family. As a young an, he became a knight. He got severly damaged in a battle in 1521 and had to rest in bed for many months. Meanwhile he was starting to become very religious. When he came across the Jesuits, he took the title of the general and persisted that his folloers were to be well trained and as good as regular soldies. He thought they'd be advanced enough to fight against the spread of Protestantism.
