Things are getting too hard to handle. The drought from July is STILL effecting us. We had no crops to harvest, therefor we had no source of income. The government is trying to tax us to death. The problem is, the rich men do not have to pay a penny! We can't even afford bread anymore. I am working two jobs and I can't let my children and I starve. Acquiring the money is so difficult, and I don't want to end up like the man in the town square earlier this morning. He had failed to pay his taxes and was flogged to death right in front of a huge crowd. I've never been so afraid.
