On Pearl Harbor

Attack

On December 7, 1941 Japanese fighter jets attacked Pearl Harbor's American naval base. This attack only lasted 2 hours but the result of it was devastating. The Japanese were able to destroy 200 ships, 8 of which were gigantic battleships, and almost 20 airplanes. More than 2,000 sailors and soldiers were killed, and another 1,000 injured.
