Woman's Roles in World War II

With World War II being the deadliest war in history you can imagine the wars dire need for nurses at the time. When the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor there were 1,000 nurses on duty. That may seem like a lot but with the amount of people being killed and injured it just wasn't enough. By the end of the war more than 50,000 women had served as nurses.
