Education

After winning independence from Colombia, Panama public education began.
Just like the U.S. Panama children attend school for twelve years. They have six years of primary school, three years of middle school, and three years of high school. The school year runs from March to December.
The grading is also similar to that of the U.S. You receive a ten that's a good grade, a one not so much.
The U.S. funds some of Panama's states, such as Darien.

Panama's education is known as the worst one in the world, due to its lack of skilled laborers, huge spending on the canal, and lack of attention.
