The Purpose and Effect of the Sacrament of the Eucharist

-The purpose of the Sacrament of the Eucharist is to give God thanks for all that he has given us: life, love, family, friends, creation, and Jesus's sacrifice for us.
- The effect is hat not only do we gain a better understanding of Jesus Christ and God's presence in Jesus, but we take time to thank God for all of the gifts he has given us, which depends our faith and our relationship with Him whether it does or does not feel like it.
