What is it? (Continued)

-The Eucharist is also a remembering of Jesus's death and resurrection. In readings such as the Gospels, the homily, and the creed we remember Jesus's life and sacrifice for us. In the Eucharistic prayer, we recall the events surrounding his death and resurrection. In this we are making his sacrifice alive in the Sacrament of the Eucharist.
-The Eucharist is also a reparation (where you make amends for the sins of the living or the dead).
-In the Eucharist, people also pray for the trip of a passed loved one and their journey to Heven.
