Lennie is a static character because he doesn't learn and he doesn't get any smarter. George is a dynamic character because he is always helping Lennie get out of the problem he is in. Slim is also a dynamic character because he is the calm one and is a resolving character. Candy is a flat character because he isn't very exciting and doesn't have much left in life. Curley is a static character because he is always looking for a fight and always gets in trouble. Curley's wife is also a static character because she doesn't learn when George tells her to leave.
