The Andes Mountain Range is the most populated region in the country of Colombia. The diverse topography given by the Andes, characterizes this region. The three branches of the Andes crossing the country from the South to the north create a diverse climate and environment from its snow-capped mountains, large plateaus, canyons, to wide valleys.
