Adaptations
Animal adaptations: Fish have fins to help them swim and gills that let them breathe underwater. Without those two special traits, they would have a very hard time surviving in their watery environment.
Plant adaptations: for plants in tropical rain forests they have drip tips and waxy surfaces allow water to run off, to discourage growth of bacteria and fungi and they also have buttresses and prop and stilt roots help hold up plants in the shallow soil.
