Pro- Slavery Arguments

Some use the bible to defend slavery saying that some passages make reference to following what your master/owner tell you to do.
Some southern slave owners said slaves benefited from slavery cause they could be apart of a prosperous Christian civilization.
They also said that southerns cared for their slaves for a lifetime unlike the northern states that replaced their slaves once they reached a certain age or got ill.
