Why Use Ubuntu over Other Linux Distributions?

The main reason for selecting Ubuntu over another Linux distribution such as Debian or Fedora is the quantity and quality of the documentation associated with Ubuntu. But Canonical’s decision to separate the current, or standard, release, from the LTS (Long Term Support) release is another factor, since the latter offers a high degree of “fit and finish” which translates into reliability and general ease-of-use.
