Signs and Symptoms
Secondary osteoporosis does not usually cause noticeable symptoms or is clinically apparent until a fracture occurs. Also some fractures caused by osteoporosis such as hairline breaks in the spine, may cause little to no pain and may go unnoticed, even when they show up on a x-ray.
