Who is at risk

People who are at risk for secondary osteoporosis are postmenopausal women, women who went through menopause or surgically induced menopause at age 45 or younger. Secondary osteoporosis occurs also in men and premenopausal women.
* all women aged 65 years and older
*men over the age of 70 years old
*adults with fragility fracture or medical conditions
*all women with bone loss due to medical causes
