Aslan Maskhadov was the 3rd president and a major leader in the Chechen revolution.

He was killed by a grenade from the FSB, formerly known as the KGB. After his death, the next in line for leadership of Chechnya was Abdull-Halim Sadulayeve.

Vladimir Putin is the 4th president of Russia and has been in office since 1999.

He established new polices and laws that shaped the oppressive Russian government.
