1500 B.C to 500 B.C was called the Vedic/Ayran age. The ayrans were nomads who came from central Asia and Europe. They built few cities and left few artifacts.
The Ayran Empire
⚪️Most of what we know about the Ayrans comes from a collection of writings called the Vedas
⚪️ By about 800 B.C they learned to make weapons and tools from iron.
⚪️Ayran tribes were lead by chiefs called rajahs, who was most often a skilled war leader.
⚪️ They based their society in ranked groups based on occupation. The highest group was the brahmans, or priests. The second was the warriors, or Kshatriyas. The Third was Vaisyas which included merchants, farmers and artisans. The last group consisted of people who had little or no ayran heritage.
⚪️The Vedas portrays Ayrans as people who were fierce warriors who loved food, music and chariots.
⚪️Other Tribes will enter and mix with the ayrans to create the mauryan empire.
