Description: A bowl sitting on a table filled with fruits. The fruits are specifically apples, pears, grapes, and peaches. The lightening is mostly dark colors. The bottom of the table is dark.
Analysis: The table appears to cast a shadow on the floor. The colors are warm shades, including the fruit and the background. There is positive space. All but the floor appear to have a smooth texture. The geometric shapes in this work are circles and rectangles.
Interpretation: The use of warm colors make the setting appear to be calm and relaxed. The design in the on the wall make it seem like the setting is in a home.
Judgement: I believe the artists could have made adjustments to the work to get his point across. When I first took a look at this piece, I immediately noticed the fruit. The artist put emphasis on it which draws the eye to the fruit. I dislike the bottom of the table because I am confused as to what it is.
