PRICES & ADVERTISING

Originally, Oreos cost 30 cents per pound. Today, they are most popularly sold in a 14.3 ounce pack, costing almost $3.

In 1950, the first slogan was made "Oh! Oh! Oreo!" Today, the slogan is "Milk's favorite cookie." Or "twist, lick, dunk." Past advertising may have not affected they way we eat Oreo's as much as today's does. Today's slogans tell us what to eat Oreo's with, and how to eat them. In the past they just wanted you to buy them.
