The Catholic Reformation

The Catholic Reformation was the effort to reform the Catholic Church from within. The Catholic Church was losing many people because most were either not Catholic or they were protestants. The church built schools to teach children about religion. They then decided to have the pope live within the people, in the Council of Trent. The church sent out Catholic missionaries to non-Christian areas hundred years.
