Hinduism
• There is no single founder, it just
evolved over time
• The main religion in Asia to this day
• Brought to the Indus Civilization
3,500 years ago by the Aryans
Buddhism
• Very similar to Hinduism
• It originally came from India and
made its way across the rest of Asia
• It's founder is Siddhartha Gautama (a.k.a- Buddha)
- Siddhartha Gautama saw all the poverty and meditated on how to resolve this problem
- After 49 days of meditation he came up with a new religion called Buddhism
