Noble Gas

The Noble Gases group number is 18.

The Noble Gases are Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon, and Radon.

Noble Gases are not good conductors of heat and electricity.

They have low reactivity.

They are not malleable and ductile.

Noble Gases have 8 valence electrons.

Helium is used for cooling, to fill balloons, used in scanners at markets, and as a protective shielding to protect welding.

Neon is used for sign making, high voltage switches, and refrigerator cooling.

Argon is also used for shielding protection, florescent tubes, neon signs, and to fill spaces between window panes.
