National Association for the Advancement of Colored People

Founded in 1909, this organization works to fight for social justice for all Americans. 

Throughout the 1920's this organization strived to assist the victims of the KKK. NAACP asked Washington to form new laws in an effort to denounce the KKK. Unfortunately they recieved little to no feed back and saw no improvement on this effort.
