The Bedrooms

The bedrooms in a domus were called the cubiculum. These were commonly quite small compared to the size of bedrooms nowadays - there was no such thing as a double bedroom!

The placing of the furniture in a cubiculum were extremely important. There were even permanent indents in the floors to show where the bed should stay!
