Environment

The Geological Timescale divides the Earth’s history into several periods of differing lengths. Absolute, Relative, Radioactive or Radiometric, Biostratigraphy and Paleomagnetic dating are ways to estimate geological time, The last way of estimating geological time is called Sedimation rates.

Industrialization, production, agriculture, land-use practices, hydropower generation, fossil fuel and nuclear power generation, disposal of wastes, and our ever-lasting desire for consumption to obtain more, whether it be material objects, or material items all affect our water quality.

Organism can do both good and bad to the Earth. For example, we humans cultivate and care for animals on Earth. Yet we also destroy it and kill animals. It all depends on what activities we are doing. We can plant a tree after harvesting one or continue harvesting without a care. There are thousands of beneficial and no beneficial activities organisms do.
