Balanced force: Equal Force acting in opposite direction (in the end the net force acting on the body is 0). Produce a change in shape.

Unbalanced Force: Unequal Forces acting on the body giving a net force of more than 0 Produce change in state of motion.

Net force is the overall force acting on an object.

1. A toaster transforms electrical energy into thermal energy.

2. A blender transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy.

3. Our bodies convert chemical energy from food into mechanical and electrical energy to allow us to move.
