By drastically changing our means of communication, the way we work, our housing, clothes, and food, our methods of transportation, and even the length and quality of life itself, science has changed and influenced our society.

Fossil fuels are an example of a harmful invention to society and a beneficial invention to society would be electricity.

Isaac Newton contributed to society by formulating the Three Laws of Motion and his own mathematical description of gravity. He also invented several telescopes and calculus.
