Egyptian fashion and hair trends
Your showcase
There are no religious restrictions for men’s attire in Egypt. There are Muslims in Egypt who do not wear any clothing that clings to the body. These men wear a galabiya which means loose fitting robes along with a turban to avoid the sun. The kaftan (ankle length coat with large sleeves, worn belted around the waist) is worn over the galabiya and is often worn by more religious men as well. Most men today wear suits while at work and trousers and short sleeved shirts for every day style.
Women usually match their Hijabs to their clothes.
Egyptian women are all about their modesty. Many follow the dress code to their religion. Women wear clothing that covers their entire body and head coverings called Hijabs which covers their neck and hair. Women are also wearing turbans for the purpose of fashion and to avoid the heat.
