Find you design line by taking a small strand of hair where you want the shortest layer to be. Sculpt length in natural fall without tension. Compare to a section in the nape holding both pieces straight out. Take a vertical part at centre front taking your guide ,

Bring forward in perpendicular distribution. Position fingers parallel to partings and sculpt to stationary design line. Take next parting on left side and sculpt parallel from top to the bottom. Continue this around the hair line. Maintain perpendicular distribution and vertical finger position moving on toward the bottom of each part. Continue to the nape on left side.move to the right side and release vertical parts keep your guide. Continue to the end. Once
