You would begin this process by sectioning hair into the 4 quadrants. Begin with your bleach in the front quadrant allowing the front to process the longest creating a sun kissed look around the face. Paint your bleach with lots of product on your brush using triangle or vertical lines but near the face go higher with your first stroke to lighten around the face. In a whole section of hair you would paint the sides \ / in a 'v' shape meeting at the ends and putting a generous amount of product on the end as well as on the back of the hair you can use a paddle to help aid in the back ends, putting product on your paddle and placing it in the same shape as what lays on top. The beauty of this style is that it allows you to be creative changing from the basic 'v' to side way angles and triangular patterns and you can also paint some straight lines as well. After you are finished front quadrants begin taking the back quads down together to blend across the head. Continue until fished allow to process and rinse out to begin your styling.

This hair started out a level 4.0 and you would need a 20 developer because you only need to go up 2 levels to a 6.0 dark blonde
