Graduated Form: Hair that has a shorter exterior that progresses to longer interior, the ridge line separates two different textures. An unactivated interior and an activated exterior.
Step 1: Begin by wetting and combing the hair with a wide tooth comb.
Step 2: Section the hair into four equal quadrants
Step 3: Take hair from back quadrants a small section parting those sections into diagonal forward parts. When cutting use perpendicular distribution and zero projection. Put your fingers parallel to the partings.
Step 4: Project 30 degrees from head following the perpendicular distribution and cut parallel on both sides of back quadrants bringing little hair out.
Step 5: continue separating and cutting using perpendicular lines and 30 degree projection.
Step 6: when you arrive at the ears be sure to avoid tension by placing comb over the ear and the cutting.
Step 7: continue parting. When you reach the crest you stay stationary at 30 degrees, bring hair and project partings to stationary design line.
Step 7: part hair and brush off face. To soften front comb hair forward and cut horizontally
across.
Step 8: air form and refine using tips of shears in natural fall.
