The major leaders of the women's rights movements were the founders of Seneca Falls; Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott. They directed the convention and part-took in writing up the demands of women. Another leader was Sojourner Truth, a slave who traveled and preached slavery abolishment and women's rights.
