Overall feel of the novel: As you are reading through the novel you Sparks makes you feel how the characters are feeling, with the descriptive words and heartfelt quotes.


Point of view: It changes throughout the novel but it is first person in the first and last chapters when Noah narrates his experiences with Allie at Creekside Extended Care home. In the middle chapters, it is in third person as Noah reads the story aloud to Allie.
