Planning and Creative Process: The novel is based off the romantic lives of in-laws. He wrote 2,000 words a day three to four days a week and it was finished and edited in seven months. After it was finished he sent it to a lot of publishers and the next day an agent called him (he is still his agent). The book when picked up by Warner Books not even a week after he finished it.
