The French joined Americans after the Americans won the battle at Saratoga because it convinced the French that they could get revenge on England. That was the major affect that the battle made. When French began to support them and be on their side during the battle Saratoga it was both of their first accomplishments of winning that crucial battle. In fact to expand more deeper they also supported them with a military aid. That decision was a huge significance and importance of this battle. The French tribes came to America on October 17, 1777. They were on a long quest towards traveling to America on many ships and all their troops they owned. They were officially making a long voyage from France to America.
