9. Begin weaving along the part just below the rectangular-shaped section. Continue working up through the rectangle, alternating medium effect, medium density weave using formula 1. With fine effect, fine density slice using formula 2. Leave last subsection free.

10. Repeat process in the left front lower section.

11. Move to right front upper section & repeat process.

12. Halfway through this section, start taking horizontal subsections, parallel to center part. Apply product & foils working up to center part.

13. Unclip rectangular section along front hairline & fold foils in previous sections away.

14. Take a fine, horizontal subsection, following natural she of hairline. Take a slice & apply formula 1 in a foil packet.

15. Directly behind that slice (with no hair left in between) take a second slice & apply formula 2 in a foil. Then take a third slice using formula 2 for a strong effect.

16. Move to left front upper section & follow same pattern used in right front upper section, alternating formulas.

17. Start processing when all product has been applied.

Sectioning

1. Begin with guest's natural part, then part from the point of distribution to the top of the right ear & clip hair forward.

2. Repeat process on left side.

3. At point of distribution, take equal amount of hair from either side of center part to create rectangular section.

4. Unclip right front section & part from the recession area back to the ear-to-ear part, along parietal ridge. Twist & clip hair above it for control. Then twist & clip hair below.

5. Repeat in left front section.

6. Uncles front upper sections. Create rectangular shaped section in center front. Twist & clip it in place.

7. Twist & clip the upper right & left sections in place.

8. Mix color formula(s) you will be using.
