Quincy Adams

Characteristic: Disliked

In the election of 1824, nobody won the electoral vote, so it went to the House of Representatives. Quincy Adams was on the running. It was all him and Andrew Jackson. Henry Clay (speaker of the House) would sway the vote. He told Adams he would sway it his way if Adams made him Secretary of State. So they both did their part. The nation quickly heard about this. Because of his cheating ways to be president, and the fact he didn't do much, the nation dispised him.

Served: 1825- 1829
