Andrew Jackson (contd.)

Worchester vs. Georgia- Worchester vs Georgia was the decision on whether or not to let the Natives keep their land in Georgia. The court ruled that the natives should be able to keep their land, but Jackson ignored it and forced them out.

Nullification Crisis- The Nullification Crisis was South Carolina trying to secede. But, no other state wanted to join with S.C. so they stayed a part of the Union

2nd National Bank- Jackson opposed the First National Bank, but saw what good it did for the country, and kept it. However, when the Second Bank bill was passed, he highly disagreed. He let it go, then right before he ended his presidency, he closed it. This caused everyone to scramble for the bank and try to get their money, causing the Panic of 1837
