Separation of Powers

Separation of Powers- Divides government into 3 branches of equal power. Made in order to avoid having too much power falling into a certain group.

Metaphor- Separation of Powers is like a football game. Just like in Separation of powers, the powers are divided into 3 equal branches, in a football game there is three parts that keep the game together. There is the players that make up the field and do their job, there is the referees enforcing the rules, and there is the coach on the sideline making sure his team will do their best to win, thus making every job equally important.
