Popular Sovereignty- The power to rule comes from the people of the country. "consent of the governed"

Metaphor- Popular Sovereignty is like the fans of a certain band giving ideas. Just like in Popular Sovereignty, the power to rule comes from the people, fans of the Black Eyed Peas give their ideas to the band, which the Black Eyed Peas base their songs off of.
