Republicanism

Republicanism- Citizens can get some sort of voting power by having the right to vote for political representatives.

Metaphor- Republicanism is like students voting for class president. Just like in Republicanism, citizens have the right to elect a political representative. When students vote for class president, they are given republicanism rights by having the power to vote. Voting for a school president represents how students can get rights as regular people, and have some sort of contribution or say about the
school.
