Individual Rights

Individual Rights- Shields people away from an overly powerful government, and it guarentees personal liberties and privileges

Metaphor- Individual Rights are like having permission to eat whatever you want at lunch. Just like in individual rights, people have certain privileges and liberties, when you get to choose what you want to eat at lunch, no one can tell you what you can and cannot eat. The principal will not criticize you on your choice of food, and eating whatever food you choose is a privilege that is considered part of individual rights that no one is allowed to make fun of.
