I think the artists conceptualized the same theme throughout by placing so much detail on the people's faces and capturing their emotions and wanting to explore the various emotions you can convey by a picture and even the mood of the room and setting. They also all continuously showed interest in human emotion. I think the values are reflected by the surroundings of the people in the paintings and what they were doing. They all use different techniques and ways to portray what they need to. You can tell what time era and place the paintings are in because of what the subjects are wearing and the surroundings of them. The constant image is a person's face in general. In every piece I searched the was a person with the emotion the artist was trying to represent.
