For Massachusetts children, it certainly isn't true. According to childrensrights.org, Massachusetts has been ranked among the bottom ten child welfare systems in the United States when it comes to ensuring children are safe in foster care and have stable placements. Thousands of innocent children in our own state are being abused by their caretakers, and countless others are being shipped from home to home without any consideration of their well-being.
