George B. McClellan was a general appointed by President Lincoln after the First Battle of Bull Run. McClellan was a former soldier who served on duties at Fort Delaware and during the Mexican-American war etc. McClellan trained and assembled a skilled, disciplined army. This highly prestige group of soldiers was called the Army of Potomac. McClellan's main strengths were the well-trained army he lead and his plans to indirectly/unexpectedly attack during battles. As all generals, McClellan also had a weakness, this weakness was his inefficiency when transporting his army. General McClellan fought at Richmond and Antietam Creek.

David Farragut was the first admiral of the U.S. Navy. Before he was named an admiral in 1866, he led key attacks on southern ports, such as Vicksburg and New Orleans. Farragut's strengths included his ideas to camouflage and trick the Confederate army, his ability to take cities like Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Natchez, Mississippi. General Farragut's only weakness was his inability of reaching the city above when he occupied Vicksburg.
