Creating The Fish's Body & Mouth

For this part, you are going to connect the two "bowls" and create the fish's mouth.

Connecting the body of the fish is easy, and quite similar to that of making a slab cup. All you have to do is:




1.) Score each rim of the bowls

2.) Place them together

3.) Gently pull the clay from one bowl onto the other until the crease is gone

The mouth is easy:







1.) Before you make the fish's body, you need to take a knife and poke a hole in the bottom of one of the bowls for the mouth
2.) Then widen the gap, as much as you want, by using your fingers
3.) If you want your fish to have lips, then poke out from the inside.
