High and Low Relief

High Relief: where you take a piece of shaped/designed clay (score it) and then attach it to the base where it sticks out

Low Relief: where you indent into your base to create a design that is inside your base. Unlike etching, you create a bigger and deeper indention that doesn't just outline a design, but is the design.
