Education and Religion

The education was very important in the life of the kids. There were very few public schools. There was about 1-2 Elementary, Middle and High School's. Since almost all of the community was catholic, there were-also- very few church's. The school's were very simple, one classroom for about 30-45 kids, and each kid would share a desk and the necessary materials to work. The church's would hold 50-100 people, the church was simple as well, it had bunks that people sat on, and altar for the priest. In the community there were very small amounts of jews, so there was only one church for them.
