Leaders of the South
Robert E. Lee- he became leader, by his outstanding work, as a normal soldier. Robert used to be a soldier, but he outgrew and became the leader of the army of the south. Robert was not one of the smart men, but he knew how to fight in a serious war. He fought in Virginia, he learned how to fight with his dad, who also used to be a leader.
James Longstreet- He became a leader, because he chose to join the Confederate Army, instead of the U.S. army, in the time he spent at the Confederate training, he learned how to become a leader, and he also learned how to fight. He fought aside from Robert Lee, in Virginia. His weakness was that he did not know how to defend himself in the war, only how to attack, but to replace that, he knew how to fight differently from others.
